The Cultural Center Vila Prudente is a peacemaker and on November 1, 2008 completed 18 years of Life. And life without quotes because it represents joy and hope for dozens of children and adolescents, who find in their interior caring, protection, culture and leisure. As the founder of the Center, Father Patrick Clarke says, "Let us make this land a place for all. A home of welcome, joy and hope! "
From the experience of young people involved in the MDF who participated in the summer course promoted by CESEEP, with the theme Environment and spirituality. These youngsters, in contact with the collectors of Favela from village Prudente, with advice from the MDF, organized a Cooperative for the work of collecting recyclable materials and raising awareness of favelas and schools in the area of environmental education.
SALÃO DO POVO
Space in the Favela of Vila Prudente that gathers young people for professional qualification in the area of computer science and sports.
CRECHE JULIO CESAR DE AGUIAR
Built in a mutirão by the inhabitants in the 80's. A strong moment was the celebration of the cornerstone presided by D. Luciano Mendes, who encouraged the pastoral care of the Minor in the Archdiocese of São Paulo. Inaugurated in August 1989 with Mass presided over by D. Décio Pereira. Today with agreement with the City Hall serves children from 1 to 3 years.
CENTRO PASTORAL D. OSCAR ROMERO
Located in the Favela of Vila Prudente this space of mysticism will help the pastoral groups and the movement to gather for formation and for moments of spirituality.
